Upon arriving at Thai Me Up we enter the restaurant expecting to get seated. After waiting roughly 5 minutes and being passed by multiple employees we ask to be seated and are told to seat our selves. The choose a table right off there patio that allowed dogs. Appetizer and drinks came out very quick and were delicious. The Shrimp Pad Thai that we ordered as the main dish was way to heavy on the curry powder to where neither me or my friend out eat it. Once we asked for a to go box for the entire plate of Pad Thai we had to wait at least 20 minutes for our check when everyone else around us was given there check when the meal came. Overall I would give Thai Me Up a 3 out of 5 stars die to poor service.
As a local I have tried this place a number of times - it has consistently gone down hill. Only thing going for it is the beer. Cold egg rolls, ordered tofu pad Thai got chicken and was beyond spicy and I LOVE spicy. Make the trip to Teton Thai in the Village - much better!!!
My favorite part of the meal were the crab ragoons. So filled & fresh hot. Excellent local beer, best brewpub in Jackson. Thai & burgers kick ass, beer is better
Beer was amazing, great environment, food was very good, but way too hot without any options. We ordered a Pad Thai with no choice of spice level. Took a few bites and told the server it was too spicy to eat, they apologized and said several people had complained about the heat level being too intense, took the plate away, then gave us the check and charged us for the food we couldn't eat, not impressed. Great beer, good food, 4/5 spice stock be advised.
We arrived just before happy hour amidst the solar eclipse rush. Our waitress was attentive and gave amazing recommendations! Food was delicious, hot, and quick. We chose to have flights and ended with a growler to go as well. They also can to local distributors, which she recommended locally to buy, too. Overall a real treat in Jackson.
