I think their menu needs a little help if they want it to be more Mexican. The "Mexican street corn" wasn't very good - the cheese was too sweet. Try Oaxaca cheese or a sharper cheese. My husband's tacos were ok. I've had better in Idaho Falls. I dont think the prices were worth it. And the music wasn't very fitting with the menu. Maybe try playing Latino Pop or classical guitar. On the plus side the sever was nice and attentive for the most part.
Tacos are great, service is OK. Be prepared to spend 1 hour and a half. But, really good tacos. Parking is sparse, better to walk.
Went during happy hour 4-5:30. Went with me, my wife and 3 kids. Host was great. Were seated promptly. Waited 20 mins to have our order taken. While we watched 2 other tables seated after us and their orders taken. For the kicker.... the table seated after us had food brought out while we were leaving. Also while leaving, I told a member of the staff why we were leaving. His response was "wow" with an eye roll. ***For management - he was wearing a red plaid shirt. Tall with brown hair working on 8/9/2017. Never tasted the food since we never had a chance to order.
Came here while waiting for The Rose to open. A mistake to say the least. This place definitely isn't trying to stay in business. While waiting ten minutes for our drinks at the very empty happy hour bar where there were a minimum of four bartenders on duty, I watched a bartender talk to her friends, sniff her armpits, looks at us, and still choose not to serve us because she was too busy taking to her friends. Eventually, another bartender finally came over to check on us and get us our "margaritas," which were basically tequila-less sour mix. I guess I'm not surprised since I saw two of the bartenders here working/interviewing (?) at Genevieve's earlier in the day so clearly they're not concerned about keeping their jobs/serving their customers here. It's more of a place they socialize and catch up on the previous nights escapades. Stay away. Just... stay away.
As a bar owner, I find this place a total embarrassment. The overstuffed happy hour bartenders preferred to socialize with each other and their friends while ignoring the six people who were actually customers. They all had drinks when I got here. I had the privilege of waiting 10 minutes for one of the gaggle of 'tenders to approach me and then deliver a margarita I could have made with Margaritaville mix and a splash of a lesser Cuervo. Luckily, the bartenders also provided entertainment in the form of sniffing their armpits, talking about last nights hookups and playing "how many of us can squeeze behind the bar." Overall a good time if you like a bar that is relatively clean from lack of use.
