The Condos are pretty nice. The cleaning was not. Carpet was very dirty. The tv on the master bedroom's screen was broken. When I told them it was my fault for not calling and telling them it was broken to get it fixed. They charge you extra for using the pool and gym which we did not used. We were going to go on the "HEATED POOL" and was -10 degrees. Just payed them almost $100 things we didn't use or were unable to use. No refund no sorries for the problems. I would of put 5 stars if this issues were resolved upon check out.
For how upscale and expensive this resort is, I was expecting a lot more bang for the buck.
There was not even a microwave in the hotel room. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was basic and appeared nicer than it actually was. It was nice to have a balcony, though.
For how unimpressive Snow King was, I will definitely be staying somewhere else next time I visit. Save your money by booking somewhere cheaper, and spend it instead on skiing, the national parks, beer, whatever.
Since I stayed for 2 nights during the summer, I can understand why most things at the resort are closed. It is a winter town, after all. But the amenities available made hardly a difference between staying there and a Super 8.
Super cool lodge with a spectacular fireplace and pool area. I didn't stay here, but wish I had. Just visited on the way through to see the Any Which Way You Can film location. I'll definitely be back for a stay. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Slopes look like they be awesome in winter.
This hotel is large. Rooms are generally in the Western decor with rugged feel. Not overly spacious, but adequate. Not sure how frequently they have it, but the is live music on the patio outside the restaurant sometimes. I've not sampled the food at the restaurant, but it is supposed to be pretty good. There is a convenient shuttle to town that picks up right outside the hotel and is free (tips appreciated).
They charge a "resort fee" AFTER you book a reservation. The fee includes stuff like "guest room wifi," which should be free anyway. All the summer Snow King attractions (alpine slide, chair lift, etc.) are extra, and definitely not a bargain.
We rode the Alpine Slide and the Cowboy coaster, both which we were able to do with a young child and she loved it! We also got to do a Maze, which was a nice surprise and I've always wanted to try. I forgot my water and was able to conveniently buy one at a Cafe overlooking the rides which offered alcoholic drinks and lunch as well. We had a great time!
When check out day came, we still had no notice of what time checkout was. We went to check out in the lobby, where the employee was helping another guest. Another employee asked if we were there to checkout, presumably to help us at the other computer. We said yes, he nodded, then he walked away without helping us.
