I travel for work and I can say the Golden Eagle Inn has been my favorite affordable place in Jackson. Despite being in Jackson, the Golden Eagle Inn is great. In my morning shower there was a squeeling in the wall. I believe it to be a Banshee or Wraith. I was able to calm it using Morse Code from starting and stopping the shower.
Good location, quite, and sane price.
As mentioned above, the price, compared to other places in town, was fair.
Old and rundown. Shabby nature of the place keeps it from being quaint Americana. However, not as expensive as most places in Jackson Wyoming
Owner at the front desk was friendly, and helpful with good restaurants recommendations.
We had the room on the end #221. Very noisy large trucks driving past constantly. Basic rooms and but they were clean. Bring ear plugs!
We got the family suit (2 adults + 2 kids). It was very big, and comfortable. Very clean!
The room was clean. Location is great. They have free WiFi. We stayed 2 nights, but there was no room cleaning done after the first night, which was a let down.
