I have been going to Akasha for two years and was new to yoga when I began. It is a fantastic studio - the instructors are articulate, inspirational and extremely knowledgable.
Akasha Yoga is a joyful place to practice. The experienced and well-trained staff is sensitive to the varied needs of their students. The beautiful studio is warm and welcoming. On sunny days the sun pours in the windows lighting everything up. In the evening the soft glow of the dimmed lotus lights casts a calm and peace on classes. Practicing at this studio is an honor.
Akasha Yoga is my favorite yoga studio in Jackson. I love taking classes with Vanessa, Neesha and Sundari. Their experience and passion for teaching yoga shine in all their classes. Their emphasis on alignment keeps my body and spirit healthy and vibrant. Akasha Yoga offers classes for all levels of yoga. Even as a long-time practitioner, I still love their Level 1 classes because their instruction and progression is so thoughtful. I walk away from every class satisfied and grateful.
The space is beautiful, light and airy. I travel around the country for my job and have been to yoga classes and studios all around the country and I can honestly say that Akasha is the best!
