Quincy was my guide on the first day. Her attention to detail for comfort, safety and respect for the environment was inspiring. You'd expect a high level from these guides, but she took it up a notch to ensure enjoyment of the trip. Her knowledge of flora and fauna, drift boat handling and fly fishing skills are awesome. Quincy is personable and friendly and provides a special woman's touch to guide trips that are typically dominated by male guides. Make no mistake, Quincy can guide with the best and provides a truly unique fly fishing experience.
Excellent fly fishing trips on the Snake River. Although trout willingness to bite can be largely affected by volume of anglers that work the spots the days before you, the fishing action was constant on both days I fished with SRA guides. Fished 13 miles of the upper Snake first day, and 10 miles of lower Snake the second day. Scenery is breathtaking to say the least. The River has a hefty volume of water flow that absolutely requires experience and expertise to navigate safely. Competent guides are a must.
We had the most amazing experience on the Snake River with our fabulous guide Josh Cohn. Josh was exceedingly helpful and knew everything about the river and surrounding area. As first timers, Josh was an excellent and patient teacher and we all successfully caught fish! We highly recommend Snake River Anglers and look forward to future fly fishing trips with Josh.
The drift boats I rode in were newer and in excellent condition. Quincy and Scott obviously maintained the rigs religiously.

Can't speak to their fly-fishing trips, but the scenic float through Grand Teton National Park was delightful. They are one of a select few companies to have permits to float inside park boundaries, and their 15 mile Moose to Wilson float gives breathtaking views in and out of the park. Our guide was knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and pointed out various species of birds. The highlight of the float was watching a Bald Eagle eating his fish on a sandbar close to the raft. Transportation to and from town is not provided for Moose to Wilson (you meet in Moose), but is provided for the Wilson to South Park Bridge float. Bring your camera!
Scott was the second day guide. He also had tremendous knowledge of the environment and of fishing. Scott used his expert piloting skills to position us constantly in calm water areas that held fish. In the lower river there were several areas of fast moving water through narrow channels that were exhilarating to ride. Scott was also friendly and professional, and gave us a second fantastic day of memorable fly fishing.
