Excellent product. Enjoyed that there may be several different comments for the same location if you double back on a spot. Very comprehensive coverage. Nice balance of humor and facts. Only nit, sometimes you are upon a location before it starts playing leaving little time to respond. Possible GPS lag? Better than comparable product we used in the Canadian Rockies. Overall, would definitely rent again and highly recommend.

So glad that we saw the brochure for this at the West Yellowstone visitor center! Worked great! Our family saw and learned many interesting tidbits and insider tips that we wouldn't have had otherwise known. It truly was like having our own tour guide in the car! Highly recommend to anyone touring the parks!
I cannot even begin to tell you just how worth it the Gaper Guide is, but, here goes... We were so so so thankful we rented the Guide for our trip. We were staying at a dispersed campsite in Jackson, and found that the guide got us right up to the edge of the park with fun facts that we would otherwise not have known. More importantly, it was a huge asset when driving the Grand Loop at Yellowstone. The Guide gave us enough notice to decide if we wanted to stop or not, and was very helpful in letting us know when we were coming up to a restroom. Our favorite part was that on our way into the Park, we heard the guide mention pizza. We had no idea how hungry we'd be on the way out of the park, and with no cell service, we couldn't look anything up - Gaper Guide to the rescue! It let us know as soon as we were getting close to the pizza place, and we were beyond thankful. As a couple that travels quite a bit, we are really hoping this gets rolled out to other parks ASAP - we don't want to visit another park without it!

GaperGuide is so helpful if you are driving through Yellowstone and /or Grand Teton National Park on your own. It gives information about places to see and where to turn off that might be missed without the guide. Lots of interesting information about the parks is also given as you drive. There is a button to repeat info if you miss something. If you are going to travel the parks on you own, go with a GaperGuide!
