Neat little place to stop in and get some souvenirs. They've got some interesting taxidermy you can purchase. Prices are a little high.
My husband and I were on vacation in Jackson Wyoming and thought it would be nice to go fly fishing for the first time. High Country Flies was highly recommended by the locals so we contacted them and signed up for the half day fishing trip. We went to Snake River and the scenery was beautiful! Steve was our guide and he was great! He was really good at teaching us the basics of fly fishing and he made sure we had a really good time. We even caught a few fish and it was our first time! We had so much fun! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to go fly fishing, and I highly recommend Steve to anyone who is looking for a really good guide who is fun and very knowledgeable about fly fishing.

Found HCF through their website and decided to go out for a day of fishing on the snake -- our guide was incredible, funny, helpful and made sure we had an amazing time. The fishing was great -- it seemed like one of us always had a fish on the line, can't wait to go out again next time we're in Jackson.
The staffers at High Country Flies have been the fishing go-to guys since the mid-'70s. Their brick-and-mortar store has everything from float tubes to tie-flying kits to top-notch fly-fishing equipment. They also share their accrued knowledge on guided trips (April through October) on the Snake, Green, and Yellowstone rivers.
