The pizza was overall above average. They have really good crust, the sauce is average, but the toppings are lacking flavor in general.
This was my first time to Pinky G’s Pizzeria and I love it. The food was so good and full of flavor and the slices were huge. The rest thing about getting a large pizza is it can fill you up and feed you for a couple days. I would highly recommend trying this place out. The atmosphere is great too!
The price was definitely $$ for the quality, rather than $. The pizza slices are huge, but not really any more filling than a normal sized slice. Tasted fine. Atmosphere was about as expected for a bar/pizzeria, laid back and calm during lunch. Satisfying but not exceptional.
We got a large (18", I believe) half pepperoni pizza and half fatty (lots of meat and onions). I had a slice of both, and really they both tasted about like cheese (the pepperoni side was a bit skimpy on pepperoni and the fatty side's pulled pork topping + others had a super subdued flavor). The single slices of pizza they sale are extremely large (like a sixth of a 32" pizza or so), so that's good. However, their prices are a bit high for the quality of pizza I received.
The number of tables they have don't exactly accommodate the entire meal rush, so get there a bit early.
We ate here twice while we were in Jackson, it’s the best pizza place in the area, the owner Tom takes great pride in his business and serving the community and making sure everything is hot and fresh every time. Excellent customer service, they go above and beyond, highly recommend ordering while in Jackson! Thanks Tom!
Atmosphere was awesome. Hands down some of the best pizza we've had. Was real busy and maybe waited 20-25 minutes for our pizza. Only reason we're not giving a 5 star is because it was very hot in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend having lunch or dinner here if your in Jackson
